Sometimes some shit happens in life that just CRUSHES you. Breaks you apart, destroys you…takes you to the darkest depths of yourself. Pain that grinds your psyche into a fine powder like a mortar and pestle and taking the air from your lungs, making you smile at things you previously thought painful.
But everything is temporary, including pain and struggle. Change is inevitable, and it’s impossible to come back from such a place the same person you were before. But it’s important that you do come back. That you learn and grow from the pain and the experience, that it aligns you more closely with your Self and the life you’re here to create.
We are in a constant state of evolution, individually and as a whole. Every experience, every trauma, every obstacle and every achievement takes us into the next level of ourselves.
2019 was a year of struggle and pain for many, myself included. Sometimes you can’t find light until you get to the darkest place – but when you do finally pull yourself out, the joy and relief cannot be understated.
Don’t beat up on yourself for struggling, and love yourself for what you’ve come through. Nothing is permanent, and your expansion is limitless – if you allow it to be.
So let yourself evolve. Let yourself RENEW.

When you travel, you seek epic natural wonders. When you have a day off, you head outdoors. To places without people… where you can really listen to the water, the breeze, and the birds. I feel you. Nothing makes me feel more connected to myself and to everything than tuning into our natural world. I believe that we’re bound to everything and to each other. We are nature. I paint nature because there is nothing more beautiful and magical to me. My abstract work comes from a love of color and allowing materials to behave organically. The experimentation has led to many of the techniques I use in my nature work. I’m here to make art that helps you realign with nature and your higher Self.
