Happy New Year lovely!
I’m super excited about 2016. So many plans, so much awesomeness on the horizon!
This NYE was our last in England, and we celebrated.
Hard.
Sometimes you just gotta go big and ball out.
Because life is all about the memories you make and the stories you create.
And it was totally worth it.
We also took a lot of down time this holiday season, as close friends were visiting.
Which always causes the battle between relaxing for the holidays and feeling guilty for being a lazy pile vs. being in the moment and valuing the time spent recharging with loved ones.
But this time I was able to step away from the studio and recognize that I wasn’t working because I was being present.
And that is something that we can all do more of.
So in 2016, my loves, work to live in the moment.
I say work because sometimes that’s what you have to do.
You have to make a conscious decision to set shit aside.
Be present.
Give whatever you’re doing all of your attention.
The benefits will astound you.
I promise.
What is on the Bound horizon in 2016?
Less silk, more paintings.
No more wholesale, which means lower retail pricing.
Smaller, more intentional collections.
And the launch of a HUGE new project that I have been silly excited about for a very long time.
