So here we are. The walls are painted, the house is unpacked, and (nearly) everything is in its place.  The studio has been wrapped up in boxes for four months, and she has emerged like an epic butterfly in her new space.

The setup took much longer than I had speculated, which seems to be a pattern. It’s rough living in fantasy land sometimes.

Sitting here at the table that the movers lost the screws to somehow, the limbo and chaos of the relocation overseas are finally subsiding, and calm and gratitude are taking over.

My husband and I have been dreaming about this for quite some time, having a space we can truly make our own. The fur babies even have a doggie door 😀

Unpacking things you haven’t seen in four months can be very Christmas-like, especially when it’s something you forgot about.  We have so many treasures from friends and travels, and it was so much fun deciding where to put everything.

This is the longest that the studio has been closed since I opened my business, and it has been a mental struggle for sure. The plethora of notes and painting sketches on scraps of paper is immense. So much to do, so little time. Hopefully I remember what the fuck I’m doing.

I really want to say thank you for hanging around and waiting for me to come back, it means so much to me. I have big plans and big paintings on the way, and I can’t wait to show you <3

But for the moment, here is a little 360 tour of the new studio!

It is amazing and I can’t believe I get to work in such an epic space. I have five workstations! FIVE! It’s mind-blowing, and I couldn’t be more giddy, humbled and grateful.

Everything is live again on the site, and custom orders are active – including the Lyric Scarves!

New Arrivals include Kimono Robes and Dresses ðŸ™‚

The paints flies again starting today, and I hope you’re feeling the joy blasting forth this Monday. I love you so much.

With all the love and gratitude,

Emily <3
