I used to think my Gram’s bird obsession was a little intense, but I get it now. Cardinals were one of her favorites, and it was such a rare sight to see the bright red beauties growing up in Montana. Since moving to Texas, I see them so regularly I have to wonder if it’s my precious Gram saying hello. I understand the excitement now!

Nurture | 18″ x 24″
$925.00$925.00Original Painting by Emily Magone
I learned a very hard and painful lesson this year about nurturing, loving and listening to myself. I took a journey across the country with my dogs to gain some clarity, stopping at some of the most beautiful places on earth; Bonneville Salt Flats being one of them. This place is vast and otherworldly, serene and breathtaking. Such a unique landscape, a sight that stops you in your tracks, silences your thoughts as you take it in.

Dreamscape | 18″ x 60″
$2,570.00$2,570.00Milky Way Dreamscape Painting by Emily Scott
What a dream… the desert sky at night. The nocturnal landscape is dominated by deep, velvety blacks, evoking a sense of profound stillness and solitude.
The night sky unfolds in a vast expanse of darkness, punctuated by a myriad of stars that seem to shimmer and dance with otherworldly brilliance. The Milky Way cuts a swath across the heavens, its faint glow casting a gentle luminescence over the landscape below.
The senses are piqued by the faint rustle of desert flora in the cool night breeze, the distant howl of a coyote echoing through the canyon, and the faint scent of sagebrush lingering in the air. Lose yourself in it.

Indigo Vortex | 18″ x 60″
$2,570.00$2,570.00Sedona Indigo Vortex Painting by Emily Scott
Imbued with a mystical ambiance, the desert landscape stills under the cloak of darkness. The canvas is awash with the blackest black paint in our known universe, forming the backdrop for the celestial spectacle that makes itself visible in only the darkest of skies.
The Milky Way stretches across the sky like a luminous ribbon, its ethereal glow illuminating the darkness with a mesmerizing display of stars. Each speck of light seems to twinkle with a life of its own, evoking a sense of wonder and awe at the vastness of the cosmos.
The rugged silhouettes of the red rocks are bathed in the soft glow of moonlight. These ancient formations exude a sense of timeless strength; silent sentinels beneath the celestial canopy.

Petrichor | 72″ x 30″
$5,610.00$5,610.00Original Sedona Storm Painting by Emily Scott
There’s nothing quite like monsoon season in the southwest. The towering red rocks, usually sunbaked and intense in color, have deepened to a richer, almost crimson hue. Water clings to the stone, making it look polished. You feel the earth cooling beneath your feet, the rock still warm but softening as the sky clears. The air is incredibly fresh, carrying with it the distinct, earthy scent of petrichor—an unmistakable blend of wet stone, desert plants, and minerals. An aroma that penetrates to the very core of your senses. The monsoon’s sudden and violent rainfall has reshaped the landscape, tiny rivulets and puddles tracing new paths over rock and sand. The air feels damp and alive, charged with the energy of the storm, yet somehow perfectly calm. As if the entire canyon has been reborn, and so have you.

Rhythmic | 40″ x 30″
$3,850.00$3,850.00Original Mountain Sunset Painting by Emily Scott
The seasons are cyclical, and monsoon season in the Arizona desert is no different. The rhythm of the thunder and the cleansing rainstorm that follows almost daily in the summer is healing, comforting in its reliability. The aftermath of the storm delivers an epic sunset, without fail, a breathtaking scene that never gets old and never repeats itself.

Rising | 30″ x 72″
$5,610.00$5,610.00Original Juniper Tree Painting by Emily Scott
The Juniper trees winding around Sedona are stunning. The resilience and adaptability they represent. Twisting out of the red earth, a beautiful and bewitching staple of the landscape, their gnarled trunks and branches twisting like ancient sculptures shaped by the sun, wind and time. Shaped by the elements, the branches writhe in every direction, bearing the scars of resilience against the desert’s harsh seasons. Their twisted limbs stretch toward the sky, some bending at impossible angles, as if they’re reaching out to grasp the red rock cliffs or touch the desert wind. Despite their rugged appearance, the trees are vibrantly alive. The air around them often carries a faint, aromatic scent—a mix of sharp, clean pine and a spicy, resinous quality that enhances the sense of rugged beauty in the desert landscape. Sentinels of the desert, standing firm and graceful, embodying both the harshness and delicate beauty of the Sedona wilderness.

Return One | 30″ x 48″
$1,665.00$1,665.00Original Painting by Emily Scott
As I’ve moved through this healing, the concept of Return – this body of work, the book, the dress, the message – has grown to encompass so much. Once my marriage was over and I was in relationship with myself only for the first time in over a decade, I remembered that that relationship was the most important, and the core of it all – the foundation of health, happiness and truth. I wanted to commit to that. To my Self. To taking care of her first, to prioritizing her, honoring her, listening to her, thinking of her future and everything that she came here to do in this life. To allowing her to create, to bringing her visions to life, to following her instinct and guidance. To filling my vase so full that it constantly spills over into the lives of those I love around me.
